
Lilian Greenwood, MP for Nottingham South today visited Clifton's Sure Start to meet with families who use this vital local service.
The City MP heard about the the Family Fund, which works with and provides grants for low income families with severely disabled children.
Lilian Greenwood said:
"I'm really pleased to have the opportunity to meet with local families who have benefited from the Family Fund and Clifton's Sure Start Centre. The work that Sure Start does across our communities in Nottingham is so important and I'm very proud it was the Labour Government who established this programme, supporting families and ensuring that all our children get the best possible start in life."
