Lilian was delighted to take part in the Ear Foundation Groundbreaking Ceremony for its new Sound Space hearing therapies centre.
Lilian joined other guests, including the Lord Mayor of Nottingham Cllr Ian Malcolm, The Mayor of Rushcliffe Cllr Ronnie Hetherington and the Deputy Lord Lieutenant Wendy Start.
Guests heard from users of hearing technologies about their experiences of working with The Ear Foundation from volunteering to participating in our family groups.
At the event Lilian gave a speech about the impact The Ear Foundation has had on the city of Nottingham and the work that is being done bringing together so many people and organisations in supporting people with hearing impairements.
Lilian also talked about her support for the work The Ear Foundation is doing and announced she was making The Ear Foundation one of her charities of the year through her local micro brewery, The Crafty Crow in Nottingham who will donate 5pence per pint sold throughout the year!
