Lilian Greenwood, MP for Nottingham South, has visited the new offices of local firm Technology Factor. The new company, created by the merger of two companies originally from Derbyshire, has chosen Stoney Street in the Lace Market as its new Nottingham base and is looking forward to expanding further in the coming years.
Lilian, who was given a tour of the company on 7th February, said:
“I’m delighted that Technology Factor has decided to open an office in Nottingham's Creative Quarter and further boost the city’s IT and tech sector. Increasing numbers of companies, especially start-ups, are being drawn to the city and many cite locally developed incentives as the reason. I’m hoping that the sector continues to grow and provide job opportunities for local people looking to break into the industry. I’m especially pleased that the Technology Factor has committed to developing new talent via its apprenticeship scheme.”
