Lilian's acceptance speech

Lilian was delighted to re-open the refurbished Co-Op in the Bridgeway Centre today.  The supermarket was closed for 9 days during which extensive work took place to improve the store.

Lenton-based hearing loss charity, the Ear Foundation, is celebrating after receiving a £600 donation from Nottingham’s Magpie Brewery and their tap the Crafty Crow.

Lilian was delighted to accept an invite from the Federation of Small Businesses to take part in their pre-General Election husting at the University of Nottingham's Business School.

Lilian, with Councillors Chris Gibson and Ian Malcolm, at the presentation and delivery of a storage container donated to Clifton All Whites by Laing O'Rourke.  The container will be used by the club's groundsman for storing equipment needed to maintain the expanding club. 

Lilian holds a Commons debate on the availability of affordable housing and says that the next government has to improve the quality of housing and end the scandal of cold homes.

Nottingham South MP, Lilian Greenwood, has welcomed new plans to limit disruption in Clifton due to the A453 widening scheme reaching its final stages.

Lilian last week met with Opportunity Nottingham to discuss their work with people experiencing multiple problems.

As part of the campaign to battle the stigma of mental health, Lilian backs Labour's Campaign for Mental Health.
